    Triton TR20. What Prop?

I’ve got a 2003 Triton TR20. Just put a 2014 Pro XS 225 on it. What prop would you guys recommend?

What prop did you have on your old motor?

I don’t know your hull but if it’s similar, when I had a 225, the 26 Tempest ran great or 25 Fury 3. The Fury needs to run an inch deeper than Tempest. 70ish with either prop.

My old motor, 200 optic had a 22 on it. It’s on the new one now and it is slipping when it comes out of the hole. I have to watch it to control.

24 Fury three blade will be very close for elavations lower than 1000 ft with average tournament loads, Baseline it and then have it custom prepped for your boat. A fury is not very good out of the box. In stock form a 25 tempest. After reworking the Fury is far superior

For tournament loads a 25" or 26" tempest and for max speed a 27" tempest.

If every thing else is right I would expect you will only get about 57 to 5800 RPM at best, That motor should be ran at about 6000 for best overall performance. Hole shot will be just a touch on the slow side
