    ALX vs Cashion rods

I am looking for some guidance on which brand to get. Opening the can of worms now...

Six of one, half dozen of the other! I've had both and there good rods. I prefer the Cashion over the ALX.

I recently picked up a few ALX rods. Haven’t had much fishing time with them yet, but they are lightweight and the quality control seems excellent. Did not find a single misaligned guide or blemish in any of the 4 rods I purchased.

I would pick the Cashion. The blank feels more sensitive to me. I also like the handles because they don’t deaden the rod like foam or cork. Great warranty if you ever have to use it.

I much prefer the ALX especially the Zolo B series and it isn’t close.

I sold all of my Cashions, and have 17 ALX now. Both are good rods, it’s what feels good in your hands. It’s ALX for me.

Thanks everyone. Went with the ALX. Va Floater summed it up as the ALX just felt right to me when handling them.

I know that was a tough decision and a lot of thought put into it. Glad you were able to get Shayne's input also for a "second opinion"!

Good seeing you this weekend at the Classic!

You cannot go wrong with ALX's customer service.
And I know Alex probably inspects every rod personally before it goes out the door. Thats craftmanship.

I bought my first ALX a year ago. Havn needed a new rod since, but I will just be using these rods from now on. Plus customer service is great. Will be picking up a Promise or toadface as soon as weather warms up and it become frog season.
