Bilge switch question

Hey gang

I've had my new 920 out three times ,and going through the operation of things . The bilge pump switch was binding and intermittent .
Jeff was great and got a new one out right away . Installed it and tried , switch rotates both directions from OFF smoothly .
When turning to the left to Auto the bilge pump runs , when rotating it to the manual position it does not .
The wires were put back on in the same order and placement . Is this normal ? Haven't had time to do any trouble shooting yet
wanted to see if i needed to or not.

Answered my own question . After looking at the old switch it is only a two position switch . It was really cinched down when i removed the original , hit it with some
WD 40 electrical contact cleaner and all is good .
