Depends on which trolling motor DI transducer you have.

    XTM 9 DI 25 T is DI 200/455 kHz

XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T is DI 83/200 kHz

That's a Mega transducer. Should be a selection for Mega Transducer. That's what mine says.

Do you have a MEGA DI G2N unit or the regular DI G2N unit?

If you have the MEGA DI G2N, the setting is MEGA DI. You would have Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D and 455/800/1200 kHz DI.

Connected transducer choices are Mega Imaging, compact Side Imaging , high-definition Side Imaging, HB 50/200 khz + 455 khz SI, di 200/455khz , di 83/200khz , di 50/200 khz and some more that i know would not go with this unit. I have not updated my unit because it runs fine the way it is and I know it with the new update there are a couple of issues but it's version 1.6

Software version 1.830 makes the unit compatible with the Minnkota MDI transducer and the transducer you have.
If you want to use that transducer, you have to install the software that allows it.
The software date is September 12, 2018.

    New Features:
    · HW CHIRP Transducer Support [CHIRP ModelsOnly] – Connected Transducer modes now include a High Wide CHIRP Mode, called“HW CHIRP”. This allows MEGA DI and Built-In MEGA DI transducers to be usedwith 2D models or without DI pinging.

You already have MEGA Imaging. It's the Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D sonar you don't have (that HW thing).
You can leave it at the default setting and it should do maybe OK using 200 kHz and still have 455/800/1200 kHz Down Imaging.
OR you can turn off SI by using DI 83/200 kHz and loose 1200 kHz DI and still use 200 kHz 2D.

I have the same transducer and the same unit as stated above. I’ve updated mine and still only shows the first mentioned.
i updated from 1.6 to 1.9. The boat had been in storage since November

    What is that?

I don't have any G2N models to see what is available.
The Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N has 19 choices for Connected Transducer. Six of those are for Down Imaging transducers.

Sorry if if I didn’t make myself clear. I am not able to select Mega DI on my Helix 10 G2N unit. It gives me the option but the screen goes black. I have to choose 455 or 800. I have the same unit and XTM 9 MDI transducer.

Always confusing when they say they have a gen 2 Di and not mega Di. There's a huge difference between the two. I had a chirp di G2N. Now I have a mega Di.

I believe the OP had prior posts on having H10 MEGA SI models but using the XTM 9 MDI MEGA DI transducer on the TM. Not a normal setup but maybe just temporary. The connected transducer setting needs to be changed anytime you use a transducer other than the standard transom or TM version transducer for the model.

No i have a g2 mega unit i just want the mega di on the trolling motor and use my other mega unit to share gps and si . In order to make my unit compatible with mega di as Wayne said I have to upgrade my unit to 1.8 if I want to use the xnt 9 MDI T transducer.
