Congrats on the new boat! That's where I broke my motor in last year. I just spoke to the office and they said that the boat docks are not in yet, that they would not be in until the end of the month. They also said that the ice is "spotty." Maybe someone else who drives by there frequently can give you a better idea on the ice. When I broke my motor in last year I ran from the no wake zone to the dam and back....just kept making loops. Might still be ice up past the power lines though.
You can always call the Park Office directly 610 377-0045. They are usually helpful in telling you if the docks are in and what the conditions are like.
Was out on Beltzville on Sunday. Launched out of Pine Run, some thin ice in stretch beyond bridge. Main lake is wide open. When heading toward the dam, there is ice in the cove on the right. Ice is pretty far back in the cove, but didn't want to go exploring. Did head toward the power lines but didn't venture up there too far, looked like ice on the shore and possibly in the shallows but hard to tell from a distance. Fished in the first cove on the left which was open. Water temp was 39 - 40.5. No docks.
