I don’t know about “game changer” but I do like the new boats that have been coming out. Competition is good

Well...It's different. It has some nice features and appears to be of quality. It just kind of looks like a Bay Liner and Stratos mix. A Stratoliner if you will.

Now if I just win the lottery i can own one.
Bottom of boat is traditional gel coat, sides are painted. The aluminum isnt recommended for a keel guard because there isn't much to guard. The nose of the boat is higher and there's no deep V to guard. The keep guard on the aluminum would have to be put way back because that's where the boat will hit at.

I am not bashing Vexus by any means.. It just looks too ranger/stratos like, I did not think they would go that far but you have to kind of expect it. Not digging the overall appearance initially. Features are cool, looks well built, fit to finish without being in person to see it looks great. Allot of what they are showcasing regarding the build process and styling has been done by Bass Cat for years. I will say I wasn't wowed initially. It will definitely fit the needs of many. Price wise... well that seems a bit high in the market. I do not see this rig being a speed demon but I am sure that is yet to be released. I have to say, I think the tin line is much more impressive overall. I would actually consider one of those.

It looked like it had a much deeper V than any Ranger bass boat I have ever seen. It reminded me of a multi-species Triton 216 Fishhunter but no windshield on the bass boat. My agency had these boats and they handled the rough TN River very very well. Those Tritons were heavy, but if the new infused fiberglass Vexus is much lighter that might be a game changer.
That pretty Metal Flake sparkle that everyone likes and when I built boat way back when metal flake was used to hide the in perfection of the mold and on the finished part. A paint job has got to be perfect or else you will see every imperfection there is.
Hope to see one up close and personal one day.. Sure looks like a lot of nice features.. One that strikes me the most is the seats.. They alone are a game changer to me.. hope they come out with a 19’..
Thanks for sharing, Dave

Not the game changer that the hype promised. It has some nice features but to me, its a bit of a letdown. Nice boat I'm sure but there are many nice boats out there and I don't think Vexus has distanced themselves enough from those brands to stand out. Time will tell.....
