Got new caracal went to fill up and open gas caps wow lots of pressure built up. It does this on both tanks. Anybody else’s does this? I’ve had 3 other basscats and this has never happened. Any thoughts. Thanks.

My 2018 Caracal does exactly the same thing. No problems so far.
EPA made everyone go to unvented tanks, open them slow!
Ok thanks guys but my 2017 never did this
I have one tank that fills easy and the other takes forever to get it to fill. Mine is a 16
My 15, 16, and current 17 all do it. Its a sealed cap. Wanna see a show, open the back compartment and look at the tank as you vent it. That joker swells in and out a good bit!

My 2017 Eyra does it. Never had a boat do it before but my last boat was a 2005 before the change.
2017 Cougar does it as well.

Vents when vacuum develops.
