Friday brew, it's on - who's fishing this weekend?

Beautiful weather this weekend, who's headed out?

Family and I camping at McSwain, but fishing McClure - should be some great action.

Fishing McClure here in a bit. Tried to get a G-loop spot at McSwain, but booked solid.

Back from 4 days at Shasta. Pretty much stayed in the McCloud arm. Didn't see any reason to run around. Lots of fish, nothing big, 1.25 to 2.50lbs, a few smallies or crosses, mostly spots, no largemouths, from 30' to the bank depending on the time of day. Water temp was 48 to 52. They're really dumping the water down the Sac. We had to adjust the houseboat twice a day or get stuck on the bank. Had an absolute blast. Wish I was still there.

I'm still patiently waiting for my power head to be rebuilt and get my boat back up and running. A few more weeks and I should start fishing again.
