Hi Guys,
needing to replace my reeds, wondering what my options were in regards to aftermarket? Also should I be going for carbon fibre ?

I just did a little bit of research not too long ago for my 150 on reeds. my 2 top choices boiled down to....
European Marine - TDR reeds
Chris Carson Marine - CCM reeds
both are frequently recommended by members on here through out the years.
I wouldn't think twice now and hit up Don for the TDR reeds...
2004 Ranger Reata 180vs 8" rapid jack magnum CCM reeds 21P tempest plus- 2005 150 optimax 1B044209
Replaced the SS reeds in my 150 Optimax 3yrs ago with TDRs from Don. Better idle, noticeably improved mid-range punch, worth the $$.

I just put some Chris Carson Reeds in my 150 EFI. Carbon fiber is the way to go. I don't know anything about TDR's but Chris Carsons are good, plus he answers the phone and tells you exactly what you need and how to do them.
Thanks for the tip. Much appreciated.

For what it's worth, Don recommends and sells TDR, which are a carbon fiber replacement reed.
