    Fish Fry

4 crappie 3 bass all about the same size 12-14". Before you say BASS a little history. We have a 22 acre club pond. 70 members with about 15 that fish and only a handful that fish more than a few times a month. Several years(15-20) back we had a big fish kill and went to catch and release. Just last year the board thought it would be ok to start keeping some fish. Before the kill off it was nothing to catch numbers of 4-6# fish now you catch 50 13" to 1 3#. Hopefully in a few years we can get it back closer to what it was.

Nothing wrong with keeping a few that's for sure and I am defiantly not one that has a problem with it. I, though, can not eat a bass... crappie and walleye are a whole other story. Enjoy!

I hate cleaning fish, so won't keep any. I have told many of the local crappie fisherman, they need to keep some of the under slot bass out of the YC Lake though.

I hate cleaning fish too but walleye and crappie are so tasty I make an exception.
