is there a setting on the Ultrex i pilot link remote to where you can push and hold the button on the remote instead of push for on and push for off?

If you are talking about "momentary on" like on the foot pedal, no. I don't see a use for that, but what is the situation you want to use that? With the foot pedal you can steer and press the momentary on and still have both hands to fish with. You would have to dedicate one hand to the remote. There are many ipilot modes to help you control the boat without the pedal if you want that might suit your needs. Bob

Thanks. And I just thought I might use it while spider rigging or trolling crank baits for crappie. I think your right. Not really necessary but I talked to minnkota and they do not have that option.

There are plenty of crappie guys using ipilot. I bet you will get lots of info from them. Trolling is the strength of that system.
