The bargain boys aren't going to be happy. They were thinking more like $29.95 for a 12 inch unit.

Sweet!!!!! Looks like what drives the price up some is the incorporation of LS.

I have a GPS 7610 xsv, I am pretty sure it was more than the 10" Ultra and it has UHD built in and no black box needed for LS...I think I wish I could upgrade ;) and I just ordered LS

You still need the black box for LVS32 but not for LVS12.

Okay ring fry...thanks for clarifying that. I still think it is priced very fairly considering. Bet it will be very popular

Ring Fry - please confirm that you can run both P22 and LVS 32 on the new 10" or 12". It looks like you can. $2500 for 12" and no xdcr and G3 Maps ~~~ I paid that for my HDS9 with xdcr and no maps 4 years ago. $599 was still a great deal for the 93SV. Decisions , Decisions!

I'm not sure about the PS22, but I've been running the LVS32 through the black box for awhile now. Here's what the website says:
    • Built-in support for the full line of Panoptix™ sonars and the Panoptix LiveScope™ scanning sonar system, including Panoptix LiveScope LVS12 sonar

    SE Kansas grass grower

And it has a new and improved quick mount cradle.

I was getting ready to buy a new humminbird for mega imageing but I hate there 2d. How is the Garmin's 2d? I believe I will hold off for now.

I have used Humminbird exclusively until this boat. I sacrificed a little on down/side imaging to get better 2d and map. I haven't used the g2 or g3 helix's, but there is absolutely no comparison between gen1 hummingbird and Garmin's 2d.
