    Most wise BBCers know that despite having the cash to buy the $70k boat outright, you’re better to invest that money and take out a loan.

    when you take out that loan, 10 years minimum, better yet 12 to 15 years. That way in case you were to fall on hard times you can cover the low loan payment on unemployment checks, money in your poker jar or loose change in the sofa.

    Not that it matters anyway, most good BBCers pay off those 12 to 15 year loans in just a couple years.
