Changing the Fuel Filters on a 250 SHO

Has anyone replaced the 2 fuel filters on a 250 SHO that are supposed to be changed at 300 hours. I think one is on the fuel pump. I am not talking about the one on the front of the engine or the big canister filter. If so can you tell me if it can be done without the special tools I have heard are needed to do it? Also, would you mind sharing the procedure? I haven't even looked to see where they are located yet. I do all my own maintenance on all my stuff.

My 250 SHO had 4 filters, one in the battery compartment, this is the Yamaha fuel/ water cartridge type, the on the front of engine and two in the VST tank, I feel as long you have the Yamaha 10 micron filter, you should be okay, Just changed the two in the VST tank on my sons SHO with 365 hours on it and they were clean, But this depends on the type of fuel you have been getting. No special tools are needed to do them, not a bad idea to replace them. Good preventive maintenance.
