Well went to the pit with wipers in it 39* water and the fish were hanging out in 30'. I don't have the patience to fish like that. After an hour I loaded the boat ran up the road and dropped in the pond, 46* water. Third cast nice 15" chunk, about 20 min. later throw chatter to a point had one miss it next cast nothing next cast nothing next cast something. Set hook nice fish, big fish, state record, world record,,,,,,,,,,,big whisker fish. Pulled me around the pond for 2-3 min. before hook pulled out. Fished two more hours and not a bite, but sure was a nice day to be out.
