    Lead for jigs question?

Going to venture into pouring some jigs and I was wondering if this lead looks ok for the job as a beginner.

I was reading where the softer lead is a bit more forgiving! Hope this fits the bill.

    Thanks

Pure lead is soft and easier to pour full cavities.... Sometimes not the best for spinnerbaits. The wire and hook connection is weaker and bends. It's fine for most thinkgs.

Go to rotmetals and get the 3% - 5% antimonial lead, it comes in either a 5lb ingot or 5lbs of nuggets which are eaier to work with. It cost a little more than pure lead but it is hard enough for most lead lures yet it isn't so hard that it freezes to fast causing incomplete pours. https://www.rotometals.com/antimonia...-nuggets-sale/
