Sorry to hear that news. Interesting that carbs feed the cancer. I did not know that.

our 18 year old lab mix developed a large lump on the inside of her back right leg on her inside thigh about 5 months ago. Confirmed cancer. We chose not to perform surgery, etc. as she has had a long and good life.

But she has not degraded at all and the mass has remained golf ball size but no bigger. She Still runs out to the park each morning, demanding as ever when the clock in her brain goes off as it does several times a day on the money for feeding times, and treats.

I hope your buddy fairs fairs well and stays happy.

Wife says hes never had an ultrasound before. Dr did it but didn't charge us for it. He wanted to see what was going on. Who knows how long hes had the mass. Well see in 4 weeks if anything has changed. Thank you to all of you on here. Means a lot.

We love our dogs, almost as much as they love us. I hope your buddy turns around and gets back his health. I have 5 but age seems to attack them all.

Hang in there. I lost my dog of 14.5 years last year. And it was one of those things where she was mentally "all there" but her hips and her ability to control her bladder and bowel movement disappeared completely. It's tough when your buddy is having issues and we feel for ya. Hang in there..... Hopefully it is nothing but do prepare yourself for what comes with an aging dog. The 13s/14s can be tough. Keep her happy :)

Hoping you get better news on the next visit. Nice looking guy.
I’ve got a 15 year old male Dachshund who’s fading because of some combined medical issues. I’ll have a hard decision in the next few weeks.
