    Testing your unit indoors ?

    How are most of you powering up your units indoors to transfer data mess with different settings Etc. ?

    I bought a extra power cord and hooked it up to a converter box with a 3mp fuse. The converter box drops the voltage from 120 to 12 volts.

    Make sure that converter box converts from 120v AC to 12-13v DC or you're going to fry that baby.

    Here is something similar to what I use but mine is a 30 amp which is overkill for a fishfinder. You can google it or check them out on amazon.
