Need some help from Legend experts

My friend and fishing partner passed away recently and I'm helping his family sell his Legend. I would buy it myself if I didn't already have my own boat. Took his Legend out this past weekend to run it and check out all systems. Noticed there are two separate cut-off switches, one in the starboard box just behind the driver's seat, and one in the the battery compartment. I figured the one in the battery compartment is the main cut-off and upon turning it on, everything powered up. But what is the other cut-off switch for? I remember him talking about a jump system if his cranking battery died he could jump it from his trolling batteries. Could that be it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, it was a little difficult getting in his boat without him. Just didn't feel right. I hope that where he's at now, he's catching some big ones!

    It's a 2014 Legend Alpha 199SCX, Merc 225 Pro XS

The switch inside the compartment behind the driver is the jump switch, sorry for your loss.
