Wife and I went to Rocky Fork Sunday for a few hours. The lake was up and muddy (surprise, surprise). Water temps varied from 39* on the main lake and we found one place that had 48* in the back of a creek.

Tempted to head out this weekend....Saturday high of 40.....we shall see.

Im headed out shortly for the first trip of the season.
Headed to portage lakes.
Dont feel bad. I fished Rocky today for 9 hrs and we came away with zero fish. Had a great time though. I'm sure they will bite before long.

Water was 39deg and still had ice in protected bays and canals. The prediction of rain and warm temperatures today will take care of that
