Ultrex shaft length question for 1995 150zx

Hey guys,

I’m buying an ultrex for my 150zx. I have a fortrex with a 45 inch shaft on it right now. I notice people running the longer shafts. Does it matter? Or would the 52 inch be better? I just don’t want to buy one and not be pleased. What are the advantages?

If u fish shallow stay with the 45”. If you fish in bigger waves a lot run the 52”. The 52 sticks up real high in shallow water
