Where can you get info on the differences between an Advantage vs an FTD
The Advantage series is not in production in 2019. They do make an SP (Special Package) in a Cougar FTD and there are minor differences. The fuel tanks being a 10 and the 26 gallon are the largest difference.
Why the capacity difference on the SP? Is there any sturctural/strorage space difference in the bilge? Or just trying to keep weight out of the rear due to the poles? Which side would the 26 be on... passenger, with kicker on right? So still has under seat storage available?
On the SP, is everything locked down, or could one order say larger electronics and TM? Or would that have to be an after sale deal with dealer?
Mark the advamtge is an older model with a narrower front deck.
This years SP is the same hull as my boat. Same Cougar deck layout. They put in the smaller 10 gallon saddle tank because quite frankly the two 26s are not needed for the average TX guy. How ever we needed all that gas yesterday most of the time we do not.

We don’t know which side the 10 gallon is on, though we think left with the batteries holding weight there. The boat can be upgraded on equipment, though no deductions are allowed.

A Cougar FTD is a Vinyl Ester resin model.

That is correct, pure VE resin and all Cougar FTD models have it in the hull and deck.
