2003 225 Evinrude DFI Ficht HO question....

Hi guys, i am going to replace all my hoses from the gas tanks and oil reserve to the on/off gauge to the engine lines.

Do i need to do anything special after i reattach the lines other than put the muffs on and prime the oil and gas balls to get the air out ?

Before hooking up the oil IN line to the motor, hold the oil primer bulb arrow facng up and squeeze until solid stream of oil flows out into a jar. Hook up line and squeeze very hard. Use a pair of pliers on the return line out of the oil injector but before the pressure regulator for about 20 seconds as the motor starts up. If by yourself, two pieces of wood to squeeze the oil line shut using Vice-Grips works well.
