    I would but it’s only rated for 235. If I could get it rerated I would. I tried to message both Bob and Nils about it but no response. I don’t want issues with tournaments or liability or insurance

    Mine has had a new coast guard plate...I bought it that way. Huthmmm. IF there would have been 250s when Gambler started installing tabs they never would have put on a set. Mine jumps out of the hole and will be at 60 before you can say it.

    The newer hulls require the tabs due to the hook in the bottom of the hull...

    Actually..... The tabs were required due to the removal of the hook that existed pre-tab. Think about it a second or two.... water hitting that hook is forcing the stern up and the bow... down. That's also why you had/have to run the 209 hulls so bow high to get max speed out of them. That hook, about 18" forward of the end of the pad has to be clear of the water. Where the post hook hulls want much less trim simply because they don't require it.

    ill have a 2008 225 proxs, maybe 300 hours on it, mint condition, when ever my new motor comes in.
