    A simple ball bungee would prevent this. Also, go with the battery cutoff, its best for the battery and any accessories that are connected while charging. Just wire charger direct to battery so everything else is cut off while charging.

    I bought some 2" wide velcro from the hardware store with the sticker backing. Cut them 19" long and stuck them together. I put the fuzzy side against my poles and make one wrap. I also have a disconnect switch that I turn off before trailering.
