    trailers on chatter baits?

I bought a few for this year's fishing. Am wondering if you guys use trailers or just fish them right out of the pack? If trailers are used, what seems to work the best?
    Thanks!

Zakos, LF Magic Shads, craw baits (chigger craws), beavers (sweet beavers), flukes. All make a bladed jig move and react differently. Experiment with a few different things, see what you like and what the fish like!

I use a small wilow leaf blade on a swivel and split ring. Put a piece
of shrink tubing on the split ring, put through hook and
shrink. Lots more flash and looks awesome. You can buy
spinners with the swivel and split ring from BPS.

The last 2 weeks I’ve been using the ZMan Craw and the Missile Baits CrawFather. They both have worked well, my fish are wanting the middle of the range in action, so no swimbait or curly tails yet but these are working for me.

T-Rigged the ZMan and it caught fish too! I’m liking this material but can’t fpdecidemif I should heed the warning about storing them with my other soft plastics? I keep my craws in a gallon ziploc and this is gonna mess with my system!

Just about any will work. I have used a single tail grub for when I burn it quickly or do more of an up and down free fall style of retrieving. My stand by for slow rolling in the spring and fall is a 3.8 Keitech reeled just fast enough to make the tail wag. The Zako I have used a little bit not enough to list it as a favorite. It would seem to be a nice app purpose trailer but a little spendy.

I've tried about every soft plastic on the chatterbait, and have had success with all of them. After I put a Zako on I haven't used anything else.

From what I understand; the baits will melt together if they contact the other. I have no idea what it could hurt if the packages are closed with everything inside.
