    thoughts on electronic mounting

I have a TR-196 and it has flush mounted 520's. I had other electronics Ram mounted at console and bow. I sold those and now have a Gen2 HDS9 and 2 Gen1 HDS7's. I am thinking about putting the 9 at the console and the 2 7's at the bow. Trying to decide how to mount them. Side by side or one on top of the other. Anyone have two units mounted at the front with either of these configurations? Any thoughts on what you like or don't like about either one? I have looked at Precision Sonar and saw the mounts, just looking for thoughts from those that have used either configuration.

I have the same boat. I also have an HDS 9 at the console, HDS 5 in dash at console, and an HDS 7 at the bow on a Ram Mount. If I were going to run two, it would definitely be stacked vertically, one on top of the other. Side by side would take up far too much real estate in my opinion.
