Getting ready to put a 1996 225PM with a bobs lower on the 95 209 SC Gambler. What would be a good starting point in prop to pad?? Thanks y’all!!

New the ‘96-‘97 promax was set up to turn 6750 rpms. Merc. Paid for a lot of powerheads under warranty when fuel quality dropped. 2001 service bulletin lowered rev limit to 6200 - best I recall. Best prop I ever ran on that set-up was a 26p Trophy. If you have the black factory 12” manual plate - simply raise it high as it will go.

Thank you!! It came with a 26 Ballistic gonna try that first. I do have a 26 trophy to try also. Have 5 props to try out.
