    Speedo disconnection

    2007 optimax 75, installed MercMonitor now I need to know where to or how to disable speedo tube on engine please.

    Should be right on the front of the gearcase, about where it meets the Driveshaft Housing, as I recall. Cap/plug the gearcase side so it's not shooting water up.
