How to tell if I have a 6 or 8 foot talon?

I have a Gen 1 Talon a friend of mine gave me ,I thought he said it was an 8foot model how can I tell for sure I know it is a 2 stage model made in about 2011 or so one of the first to come out. And if I measure the whole thing it is about 5' tall from top to bottom, so wondering what I have a 6 or an 8' model?? any help would be appreciated

He many blue depth lights are on the unit? Gen1 units have one blue light to indicate each foot of deployment. If it has 8 lights then it’s an 8 ft model.

Just checked I have 8 led lights on my talon gen 1 so I guess I have an 8' thanks for your response

6 footer is shorter then 8 footer. 6 footer will be around 3' long 8' should be around 4' Should also be written on the serial number tag.
