    2000 TR-186 prop

Currently running a 23 Tempest. I recently added two power poles. The hole shot is just ok and it runs out ok. The current one is a little dinged and I need to have repaired or replaced. What are you guys running?

How many rpm's are you turning at break over? You need to be between 3500 and 3800 or you need more venting, larger PVS holes. If it's won't turn to max rpm's get a 22" tempest plus.

Or you could drop down to a 21'pitch for better hole shot. You may loose some top end but you'll get out of the water faster

24 Tempest plus prop no power poles, I only have trouble getting on plain middle of summer with full live wells and full gas tank. It’s on the bottom of a XR6 is motor. Summer I run 59mph, spring and fall I can run it to 63mph no problem.
