How many on here & what part of the country do you live in? Would like to know some folks around me to get together with every now & then. How do you find local jams? Thanks

not close to you, but I used to go to jams at a local shop called the Bluegrass Shack. The owner taught me to play - she was great!!!

Here we have a Missouri State Bluegrass Association - that’s how I found out about local contests, jams, etc. you live in the Bluegrass State - surely you have more resources than I do!! :)

If you can play much you play more than me. I just started about a month & a half ago, but i’m learning. Played guitar since I was a you kid, but the banjos a different critter. Lol
