I have been having trouble with my livewell timer. I bought a new one but I can’t see where it is on my boat? I have a 1996 20xrd. If anyone can’t point me in that direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It should be behind the switch panel at the console, at least that's where mine is. You might have to dig a little. It could be zip-tied in with a bundle of wires.
Its a red Shotgun shell/film canister looking deal
Thanks for the help I tried looking but didn’t see anything. I have the new one so I do know what it looks like, I may really have to dive in this weekend....

Does your new one look like a shotgun shell? You can follow the wires from the timer switch and within a very short distance itll be tied onto some other wires

It should be under the console and tucked into a channel that runs under the top cap. Wire bundle may be hiding it from underneath.
