I bought a set when I had the GMC 2500. On a trip to Florida the heat from the exhaust must have been just right, you can see where the heat melted (slightly) the passenger side flap... Now I've got a Ram 1500 with the Hemi, dual pipes and I'm afraid running them may impede the exhaust... So they're just collecting dust in the garage... Well built, pricey if I remember correctly... I've been using them for a couple of years and like them. The exhaust melt is a chevy/gmc diesel issue. It warned of it in the instructions. It's because of the regen cycle I think but I dont have an issue with mine. I also deleted mine and turned the regen off. Definitely keeps the rock slinging down

I got a heat shield to deflect the heat from my exhaust and it seems to be working well to keep them from melting. Very slight warp in the passenger side but not bad. They definitely cut down on rock chips.

Does anyone think with them being so close to the exhaust pipes they could cause a performance issue or damage the engine???... Dan

Take a look at KWYK PFYT. They look nice, great small company that backs their product, and they work quite well.
