They sure look like rings for the LS cable, best I can measure. I decided to cut a 1-1/4" hole in the forward locker wall, and use a McMaster-Carr grommet. That is the easiest solution I can come up with, so I need to ride to the HW store and pick up a hole saw bit that size. Still deciding on a front display mount; I have a 1.5" RAM mount but that might be too light. Been waiting weeks for Garmin to send a new cradle and an extra power cord I ordered (they said the cradles are on back order for another week) so I can move the head unit between my kayak and my big boat. I fish some electric-only waters with a NuCanoe F12 kayak with a trolling motor, and it is great to have the 93 on there. I'll be working on a kayak mount for the LVS32, so eventually I can use it on the kayak if I decide I really need it. Currently I run the GLS10 with the battery in a milk crate, with 93 on top as a temporary deal until I make a permanent install. Works very well.
