so far we are planning on taking a couple of trips south to AR for weekenders and probably a long trip in May timeframe to head to the Smokey mountains.

Savannah Ga in Feb.
Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Cherokee area in May
Alabama no particular site yet in Apr.
Cathy and I will ride Run For the Wall https://rftw.us/ in May. Then in August we'll go to Sturgus. Might sneak down to Bikes Blues and BBQ in Arkansas https://bikesbluesandbbq.org/
Rodney,
maybe when you all head down for BBB we can meet up. we are planning on going down for the rally also.
which way are you all planning on going down
After keeping a camper in the Northeast Georgia mountains since 1995, we are simply spoiled to the most incredible bike riding anywhere. The roads are perfectly crooked and pavement is flawless. Thousands of Atlanta cycle riders come through there every weekend.
The region north of us is the far western portion of North Carolina, and their mountain roads are also great--as are the roads in the Smokies.
We really like the Cheohala Parkway which is 40 miles of mountain roads going from Tellico Plains, Tennessee to Robbinsville, NC. It's a short distance south of the Tail of the Dragon, but not nearly as gut wrenching to ride.
Just Sturgis for us this year. Will hop down to
arkansas for 3 day trips maybe a couple times. Not as much traveling as last year.
We are planning on going to Colorado this year and probably will do a trip to the Ozarks.
Daytona in March, Mytrle Beach in May, & again in October. May go to Maggie Valley in NC to the rally, not definite as of now if we will make that one.
My son and I will be at Bikes, Blues,BBQ Fri Sat Sun
Might have another trip planned. Pre-named the dirty desert border ride. A guys only ride to New Mexico and south to FM170- Texas mountain road. Staying south as we go west as close to the border as possible. Then, north and back east home.
havent been on a all guys trip for quite a while. When we do we have a lot of fun and a lot of bourbon gets drank.
We now have Sturgis on the calendar. Lodging is secured. This will be our first time to be there for the rally.
Would like to get back to Maine and NH again. It’s been years since I had a bike up there.
