Used pecans I had in the freezer. Roasted them at 400 for a few minutes. Into the blender with the water. Same texture, great flavor. I have chicken legs simmering in it now. Brown jasmine rice is in the pot.
What are you using to grind your Marsala ? I found an online Indian shop that sells all the spices etc and got a bunch of stuff. One of which was a bag of all the spices needed for Marsala. Now I just need to grind it all up and fill my container from wally world.
