    SHO ECU flash rev limiter

Is there much speed to gain by raising the stock rev limiter and propping to 6300/6400 vs keeping the stock limiter with the Hydrotech flash? I have the flash with the stock limiter but was thinking about having it raised if there’s a big benefit.

Raise it and prop it for 6500. Totally eliminates the rpm lag. You don’t have to run there constant, but having that little extra umph up top is sweet.

You'll get the most if you remove the limiter and spin the prop 65-6600.....most can flash the ecu raise the limiter and keep the same prop you were turning to the limiter before the flash and now turn the same prop 6500+......the extra rpms get it too its peek power band.

Maybe if your running a light hull? Most only gain 200-300 rpm running same prop from my experience.
