    Optimum Setback distance

    I am looking to buy a new Hydraulic Jackplate 6" or 8". Boat is a 99 Triton TR20 with a Mariner 2.5L EFI running a 25 Tempest plus. I am wondering how much setback is optimum for this boat?

    A 6 or 8 inch plate will work on that boat with the efi.
