I have a buddy that thinks they are great...I think they are good...not great. The biggest problem is the cost verses the toughness. They are good for one maybe two hits of a fish to them.

I love them. They skip incredibly well, the action is awesome. Killer around docks, and I've had luck using the heavier ones to "flip" deep grass like I would with a grass jig or punch rig to give a different presentation. You can also drag or hop them around rocks like you might do with a football jig or Carolina rig. I've had them get torn up, but have had much better luck than what Dogfish mentions with durability.

My one complaint that is really splitting hairs because I doubt it matters that much, is that there really isn't a good sunfish or yellow perch pattern in the bunch. A couple are close enough and that's what I use, but it's clear they're a JDM bait with the color selection. Hanahaze and Haze are the ones I've been using that are "close enough" to a bluegill pattern, with the former getting the most work from me. I initially thought that Biwako Yoshinobori (totally had to go find the name of that one) would be a decent bluegill pattern but I think the white is way more prominent in person that it shows up in photos. Again, that's really splitting hairs.

I’ve put some good time on the water with the Dark Sleeper, I’ve caught at least 20 fish on 1 and haven’t had an issue besides one eye falling out. They still crush it regardless

I realize I am biased but the color patterns on these are crazy detailed. Haze and hanahaze are great gill patterns. Hard to beat shiraou for a shad pattern.

Pretty well, the hook being inside the dorsal fin helps quite a bit.

smallmouth love em! They hold up for me for about 40-50 fish before they’re too mauled. Fished them from st. clair to buffalo last season a lot.
