    Cold front

Hey fellas my brother and are coming down to fish this coming Monday through Friday at Santee....staying at Black's Camp. I see the weather looks to be pretty warm this week, and is then going to really cool off for a few days. In your experience, what has this done to an early spring bite in your area? Thanks!

If its anything like I experienced 2 weekends ago after that front pulled thru Saturday afternoon Feb 16 it shut my shallow bite down on Sunday and Monday.

Which makes sense! What was the water temp before that cold front? Do you think those fish moved very far, or just shut down?

It was definitely tough. We only caught one with Inky from 8-2pm..then went out and caught some on our own. We figure we’re just going to have to work for bites!
