The prop nut for me takes a ton of noise and vibration out of my mg tour , running my partners boat with out one made me realize just how much noise it takes out. IF there is a con to them is if the pin breaks inside the prop. its a pain in the butt to get the eliminator off cuz it just lets it spin on the shaft. But ive done it and it can be taken off with simple tools and a few words under your breath lol. Pros def out weigh the con.

Eliminator on my MG Tour dampens vibration some, but really helps most with balancing out a rough or nicked prop. And it’s easier to remove when needed to change out a prop on the water. My “can’t live without” accessory is the Equalizer lift assist. Makes a world of difference deploying/stowing my Tour.
A $2500.00 Ultrex isn’t on my must have list.

Kipawa prop is nice. But if you have a grass blade it’s a waste. There’s too much of a gap between the prop and the blade so the weeds actually don’t get cut like the blade is meant to do. I had both on my motorguide and put the original prop back on for that reason

I thought the same thing... until I owned one. Will be a must have from that point on as long as I have a boat.

For my Minn Kota MAXXUM it was the DIY lift assist. There is not one commercially available so it became a DIY project.
I have a parts list and assembly instructions, If interested PM your email address and I will send a PDF.

I keep forgetting to do the lift assist add-on. Motor guide fw/fb model. You might have finally talked me into it.

The best thing I've done - recessed tray. No more back issues since I installed it.
