Nice video, I have tried sparingly the swim jig and never caught them so I don't really throw them. I would love to get a little more success and confidence on these. I'm gonna tie one on next outing.
Two or three years ago I really tried to use a swimming jig more but I think I caught one 9inch lgmouth and don’t even remember getting any bites. I wish I could say I will try them again but I was really disappointed.

I asked a few questions in here last year about swim jigs because I had never thrown one and wanted to learn. I had a few people, one in particular that took the time over a 2-3 week period to literally teach me to catch fish on a swim jig.
Now that I’ve learned I have one tied on at least 90% of the time and it has become a real confidence bait for me! Don’t give up on it, the swim jig is a deadly tool to have in your arsenal.

Another really good person too watch is Bill Lowen. He is a master with the swim jig.

Good tips in his video
I've caught fish on them in the local lakes, never has been a numbers deal for me, but I have caught some quality fish on them.
Give that tip a shake
