Huge fan of my Rec Tec! Grills are great, and customer service is top notch as well.

I don't have one yet, but from the research I've done, I think I am going with a Rectec in the next couple of weeks unless something changes my mind. From what I have read, the Traegers are good, but they are living on brand name and loyalty. There are many better grills for the same price or less. Traeger was the first and best known.

My neighbor has a Yoder. It seems quite a bit heavier built than the Traegers. I don't use it, but he loves it. He's had it about 2 years.

Green mountain grills or rec tec. I bought a GMG because they have local dealers when you have a problem. I've had mine for a year and use it every week even when it is below zero out.

After months of research, I'm going with Grilla too but with the Silverback vs the original Grilla. Came down to a choice between Rectec and Grilla and just feel better about the Grilla. Yoder is a want, but they are far too expensive for just a casual griller like me.

I have a Rec Tec 680 with the added WIFI controler. If this was any easier,it would put the food on the grill by itself. Great product and GREAT customer service ! For the money THE BEST !

Just received my Grilla Silverbac Friday. After 2 cooks on it, I'm completely sold. Ribs Saturday were the best I've ever made and as better than I lot I've had in restaurants. I also see a lot of good info about Rectecs.

I started with a Pitt boss. Added a Savannah Stoker PID controller. Works great for what it is. Just ordered a Pitts and Spits 1250. All welded heavy steel made in Texas. Check them out. Good luck. JD

Just bought the pit boss 820 deluxe and replaced the controller with the Savannah Stoker. Impressed so far.
