    Merc 115 Pro XS 2 stroke Prop

    Just bought a 2016 crestliner vt 18 with an aluminum prop and I need to upgrade. Looking for suggestions on prop selection for the 115 pro xs 2 stroke. Thanks!

    Try posting this in the tin boats forum and you may get more replies. Not sure on 2stroke but lots of guys running X7 spitfires and LazerII on the four strokes on tin boats.

    You will be limited to brands of props as the gearcase is a smaller hub diamater. Have the same issue with my 115pxs . 21-22 P lazer 2 will work fine for a 3 blade. Make sure you have it B&B'ed though. 1 or 2 out of every 10 is a good balanced prop. The rest are wayyy offf. Remember . it is 20 year old prop techonolgy, but mine works well on a 168 champ. Mark Croxton can make them run properly though.
