Good grief! Praying she finally Gets a break from this. I understand what she is going through. I have a pacemaker/defibrillator and have been coded twice with no heart beat. A pacemaker defibrillator is not all that bad of deal and may be the answer to her problem. Please keep us posted! Thanks

It appears I don't need that, Ron. I am no longer in afib and start cardio rehab Monday. I feel pretty good! Mowed my 2.5 acre lawn last week and will do that again soon. I am home alone for the weekend, and the plan is for me to spend weekends here and go back to Joyce's on Sunday eves, as my rehab is near her house Mon and Wed.

I have the most incredible young cardiologist. He "installed" the stents and is so excited about my continuing recovery. His peers say he is the best. He did save my life, for sure!

Great news to hear Lea. I have read this forum for years as I had a friend who had a 186 that I fished with. I just picked up 1998 181 with XR6. It is 21 years old but looks great. I will post some pictures once I get her cleaned up. I have fished out of a 17' Xpress for years so this boat seems huge. I love the size of the rod lockers. I do have one question and I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this. The previous owner hardly ever used the front and back pedestal seats. He warned me when I bought it that it was a devil to get the seat poles back out once you and pushed them all the way down into the floor. I put them in the other day to measure a cover and it was iffy for a while if I would get them out. Is this common or is there something I can do to make this easier? Thanks for any help you can lend. Phil

That is great news Lea! You have certainly been through a lot. Praying they have you "fixed" this go round! Just don't push yourself too much to quickly.

Pwoodard....common. Just take them out every time you use them. I have been doing that for years with no issue. A friend left his in.....they got stuck. Not easy to get them out! Some folks use a flap wheel sander to enlarge the base just a tiny bit. Others hone down the base of the pedestal itself.

pwoodard...if you use the sander on the base, be careful and just do a little. You don't want the pedestals to wobble!!
