    Cayuga In May

Can anyone tell me if there are any special regulations for Cayuga? It's listed on the heading of this seasons chart but not below.

Cayuga follows regular state regulations for bass. In May it’s just catch and release so you can’t put them in livewells. The reason you don’t see it below is because that’s for special regulations outside of normal. Cayuga is actually listed in the chart but it’s for special regulations for trout and salmon.

Guess in theory but would have to deal with hard water.

Unfortunately no. You can’t have a regular tournament in May on Cayuga because you can’t have any fish in your possession and that includes livewells. What you can do though is catch weigh release. Salt City Bass club out of Syracuse hosts a major league fishing style tournament on Oneida Delta and a few other lakes in April and May which is a blast
