It’s cold, muddy, and a little high, but fishable.

Hoping to get out there Thursday.
More than likely going to hit some of the creeks on the upper end of the lake or head up the old river.

Well water is still pretty stained 12 to 14 inches of visible until the wind churned it up as far as water temps the main lake was in the upper 40's Up in the creeks low to mid 50's

Went to Chesdin for couple hour this afternoon. Main lake 52-54 creeks 55-57 degrees. Water maybe foot of visibility.
I didnt get a single bite. Did not see anything shallow at all. Was unable to catch any fish i could see in graph deep either.

Could see shad breaking surface in multiple shallow areas. But no signs of bass going after them. This was late afternoon.

First time getting boat out this year. That was nice, but not a single bite. That sucked.

Sounds like chesdin. And it took over 18lbs to win the tournament yesterday. That lake is tough.

I was wondering that. 18lb I think is pretty good. I can't catch anything when its muddy. Havent been able to figure that out.
