2020 Skeeter ZX150
what size and depth jerkbaits you wanting it for? I use anything from a 6'6" medium power spinning to a 7'0" MH moderate action baitcast. Depends on what I'm throwing.
ALX expert series kelley jaye jerkbait rod. $250
6’9”. Short 8.5” handle but working length about a 1/4” less than a typical 7 footer. Medium plus with an 80/20 tip. About 4 ounces. Midmicro guides. Sweet rod!

Expride 6’10 medium is a bad dude for Jerkbait
St Croix legend tournament Jerkbait special is great as well
megabass 2019 Levante should be good also it hits your price and is the length you want have not fished it but work is the new Levante s are great sticks
X2 on the Expride, went through 4 sticks Trying to find the right one. Falcon also makes 6’10 MH Cara that’s really good, think Mike McM designed it.

I currently have the 2018 orochi xx jerkbait rod and the destroyer 110 rod. I really like both. I also had an orochi xxx but it wasn’t the jerkbait rod. It was the rattle viper. I wanted the jerkbait rod but I got mine when they first became available. I really liked that rod too but eventually sold it because it was a little under powered. I personally wouldn’t mind the length of the xxx.
Falcon makes a Mike Mclelland jerk bait specific rod that I believe is 6'8" that he designed for the Spro McStick.

3rd for the dobyns champ 704cb
St Croix blank Medium fast(pick your price) makes a good jerk bait rod. Also Phenix Recon 2 or Elite 7'1"' MH Fast is a craker jack.

6'10" expride or zodias. Awesome jerkbait rods plus it can do it all. Great utility rod for small keitech swimbaits, little jigs like a bitsy bug, small cranks, poppers, smaller walking baits and spinnerbaits

not enough rod for mid size and up jerkbaits in my opinion. Proper jerkbait fishing requires a rod that can give that bait that "snap" to make it do it's thing! A soft moderate rod WILL NOT do that!
