    Minn Kota Charger

    I have to replace the NOCO charger and went with a Minn Kota do any of you know why there is a wire that is suppose to go to the ignition switch?

    It sounds like you got the alternator version instead of a normal charger that uses 110V. So, exactly what model of Minn Kota charger did you get?

    MK 315D should only have 3 sets of Pos/Neg wires and an electrical plug, that's it.

    There should be no wire that goes to the ignition switch unless you have the alternator charger. Where did you get that idea?
